Riding a horse has the power to transport individuals with special needs into a world that lets them escape their disabilities, braces, crutches and wheelchairs and replace them with the gentle gait of a well-trained horse. It is here that the healing begins! You can do an incredible amount of good by simply sitting down for lunch and learning about Equest Center. Think of it as the ultimate POWER LUNCH!
Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding has been improving the lives of individuals with physical, mental, social/ emotional challenges, ages 2 through 100 for over 32 years. Equest is one of the 2 largest therapeutic riding program in West Michigan serving 185+ individuals each week with a list of over 50 riders waiting to participate. We are the only year round program in our area which is critical to the ongoing success of so many of our clients.
