Riding a horse has the power to transport individuals with disabilities into a world that lets them escape their braces, crutches, wheelchairs, and worries – replacing them with the gentle gait of a well-trained horse. It is here that the healing begins! You can do an incredible amount of good by simply sitting down for lunch and learning about Equest Center. Think of it as the ultimate POWER LUNCH!
Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding has been improving the lives of individuals living with physical, mental, and social/emotional disabilities since 1990. Equest is one of the largest therapeutic riding programs in West Michigan, serving over 200 individuals between the ages of 2 and 100 each week with a list of over 50 riders waiting to participate.
