Equest Center’s new Adaptive Carriage Driving and Hay Barn provides us with a facility designed specifically for our carriage driving program. Not only does it provide an area for safe tacking and teaching for our carriage driving program participants, but it also gives us a place to store our adaptive carriage and driving equipment. This building also boasts a two-story hay storage area that houses over 3,500 bales of hay that will sustain Equest’s therapy horses throughout the year. This allows Equest to purchase hay earlier in the year when it is available in larger quantities and at lower costs.
